I NEED YOUR HELP TO SPREAD THIS

image

This blog in the photo accompaninstuo91 does not have a proper blog. When you click on their blog, an image pops up asking you if you're 18 and if you say yes or no, it directs you to a virus/porn site that isnt on tumblr

The bots are evolving to actively redirect you/ give viruses to you

Please reblog this so you dont fall victim. Do not click follow or try to go onto their blog, instead the only way to report them is to click the little three dots and click report

@staff please stop shit like this

kaiasky

Hi everybody. I know this sounds super scary, but

The blog in question. It reads "you are 18 years old?" and has buttons for yes and no. The mouse is over yes, and the link that will take you to is displayed as 'pinonlineflowersteam.xyz/...'ALT
  1. This blog doesn't do anything special. It uses the custom theme feature of tumblr to have a link out to an external site. You can see I'm highlighting the link here, and it's telling me what link it'll take me to. (a useful tip for knowing what a link leads to! use this to detect rickrolls!)
  2. That's the same as if I linked to fakepornographywebsite.gov in my post, except much harder to accidentally click on. If you don't click the link, you're perfectly safe.
  3. Even if you do click the link, you're still safe. Web browsers are designed to be reasonably idiot-proof. Keep your browser up-to-date and don't run anything you download from untrusted sites.
  4. Download uBlock Origin to automatically block sites like this (with an optional override if there's a false positive on a site that's actually fine).
  5. This account (@accompanincestuo91) been around since 2018 and hasn't done anything since then. pretty harmless as bots go.
  6. @'ing staff (or humans, wip, changes, or god forbid, staff member's personal blogs) isn't the right way to report issues with tumblr. Make a support ticket or report a blog. These will get you noticed faster, and I'm sure they're easier to track and much less annoying for staff.

Thanks! Please remember, when somebody tells you it's important that you take action (including reblogging) without thinking, that's your signal to stop and think.

Anonymous asked:

everyone’s all “listen to poc!” “uplift people of color’s voices!” but when SEAsians and buddhists have a problem with the word tulpa suddenly it’s an attack from “”sysmeds””. i’m not even joking when i say it’s some of the most infuriatingly racist discourse i’ve ever seen. i’m not SEasian but i’m native american and it gives me the same feeling as when white people appropriate war bonnets and they’re like “i just thought it looked cool im appreciating your culture!!!”

white tulpas are racist and we need to start saying it with our whole chests, we need to start calling them racist to their faces until it sticks. i’m done being nice when people know otherwise.

and if a certain white tulpa blogger sees this: i’m glad you think your personal comfort is more important than the entire culture and history of tibet and buddhism. i’m glad you can wear that culture like a costume while real people are suffering from the effects of colonialism because of you fucking white people. just use a different fucking word for fucks sake.

When SE Asians who aren't even Tibetan nor Tibetan Buddhists stop speaking over actual Tibetan Buddhists from Tibet, who actually have tulpas, then we'll take them seriously.

greens-spilled-tea

Have you considered this reddit post by a Tibetan Buddhist?

Additionally, have you considered that there's a difference between POC who have experienced racism (especially racism that’s maybe one or two degrees removed from the racism Tibetan Buddhists experience) standing up for and calling out racism and the cultural appropriation for another group’s practices, as opposed to white saviors complex people who have never experienced the racism themselves calling everything that makes them uncomfortable "racist"?

Sure, nobody should speak above the voices of those who are most directly impacted by these sorts of arguments. But when you refuse to listen to anybody who has actually spoken up about this issue who are actually Tibetan or Tibetan Buddhist and instead cherry-pick your responses based on what you want to hear, ignoring the vast majority of people telling you to just stop and choose a different word? Not even telling you to stop practicing tulpamancy, but to simply change what you call it?

I think there’s a deeper issue at hand and you really need to examine your own internal biases.

plain-sailing-weather

Ok ok you can't make this shit up this is literally so fucking funny.

So, the reddit post you linked? Well, the poster made another thread. And you'll never believe the top comment

So what exactly happened to listening to Tibetan Buddhist voices?

This screenshot is a reblog that was made on my pinned post that has since been deleted.

I have chosen to reply to it anyway because I want to and I'm amused.

All your points are factually incorrect. Impressive. Ficitves are absolutely their source. A fictional introject/fictive is based on or derived from a fictional character, their source. Source is the core of a fictive. If it wasn't, they wouldn't be a fictive. To be removed from source is a whole different battle. On top of that, I AM Slade Wilson in a system, I did not say a system would act like an abuser and a manipulator, I said I do and can and will again, and a Slade who is Slade will as well. It was a warning. It was about Slade Wilson fictionkin, fictional introjects, and all the in-between, not whole systems.

Not a single thing I said was ableist either. Nothing I said had anything to do with disabilities or putting down the disabled in favor of the abled. It was a statement on my own moral character and the moral character of men like me. Although it does make me wonder about how it is, you decided abelism was the hill to fight on. I'm in a disordered system. We suffer just like you. I did not advocate for simply not being a system because it's easier. I advocated that if you're looking for an abuser, maybe think first and protect yourself.

But you know, educate me if it pleases you.

chaos-in-one

Hi, yeah, fellow introject here, no. Absolutely not. If this is how it is for you, that's one thing. You are allowed to view yourself that way, that's your life and your decision. But imposing this on all other introjects? That is ableist as fuck.

Yes, introjects have traits based off their source. But that doesn't mean they are literally the same. I, for instance, have memories that pretty heavily diverge from my source, because my memories are meant to help me process trauma that happened to our system, not to be source accurate. Treating ALL introjects like they are their source is outright dehumanizing. We are our own people. Treating us like we are not because of a trait we cannot control that comes from our disorder, is, in fact, ableist. Because it is treating a disabled person as lesser for a product of their disability.

The core factor of an introject is the brains enterpretation of a character/person. Not just the character/person themself. Which is not always going to be even remotely source accurate. And is also heavily influenced by what the systems brain feels it needs to survive, function, etc. that caused that new alter to split in the first place, which, again, often is not going to fit with what is accurate to their source.

Maybe stop projecting how you view yourself and your source on to other introjects. Yes, including ones who share a source with you. You are not them, and your experiences hold no standing in their life or who they are as a person. Making judgements on a person based on an uncontrollable factor of their disorder is ableist. You also being disordered does not change that.

alright, so we feel like we need to respond to @eeveecraft ‘s post that they made using the document we’ve compiled.

looks like they’ve blocked this syscourse blog… but not our main. so we cannot reblog their post with our thoughts, but we can still see it (and therefore are going to respond to it). we don't think it's block evasion to respond in this way… (though if it is, let us know and we'll rewrite this response on our main blog which isn't blocked).

we don’t like to vague or to talk about a post without reblogging it directly, but we don’t see another way for us to respond properly, so here we go.

we are anticipating this will be quite long... so we're preemptively putting this under a cut.

here’s a link to the original post so you can read it for yourselves and come to your own conclusions!!

and here is a link to our document compiling thoughts on tulpamancy language by those affected. it is so important to center voices of marginalized groups in discussions that impact them!!

The reason I haven't spoken about Supernatural and Mandala Catalogue being bad on this blog is for one simple reason:

I have no idea what either of these two things is, beyond "bad TV show that my dad watched a lot" and "horror videos on youtube with faces that would give me nightmares"

That's.... all I know about them. But hey, I can tell you, if either of these use Tulpas, I think that's bad too! <3 I just don’t have the time or care to watch things I know nothing about and would give me nightmares to watch for the sake of Keeping Up With Syscourse. I’d rather like… write fanfiction about video games and stuff. But Y’know I guess like. Image related.

autumn-rain-co

Wait, huh. I've watched the Mandela Catalogue and it literally doesn't mention anything about tulpas or tulpamancy. It has religious themes and imagery, primarily of christianity.

There was nothing that explicitly nor implicitly said that "oh I made some guy in my head" or anything of the like. It's literally about otherwordly creatures killing humans by mimicking them. It's about not being able to turn to your faith/religion for guidance since it's literally the thing that's causing the crazy stuff.

Literally NOTHING about tulpamancy. What the hell are they on about?

syscourseradio

i couldn't find this post myself so i got it from reddit, but yeah the word tulpa is used in the TMC lore. i don't think it's ever explicitly said in the series itself but it's definitely there. i will say though! maybe take this with a grain of salt because reading the wiki for the tulpa alternate makes me think this post might be deleted and retconned now?

image
autumn-rain-co

oh fuck! probably should’ve looked further than just the videos for this.

and i read the wiki and well

image

deleted and retconned. so, don’t really know for sure if tulpas are gonna actually be a thing in tmc.

thanks for the info!
